Our History

Forward Thinking Logistics opened its doors, or perhaps more fitting, started its engines in April of 2018. Owners Tom and Sara Behling took an opportunity they were provided and started the business following their move back to Wisconsin after Tom retired from the Army.

As a Veteran-owned trucking company, based in Wisconsin, Forward Thinking Logistics has the grit to overcome the challenges and adapt to any change the industry throws its way. Fom economic shifts to changing regulations, FTL remains committed to its core values and treats every shipment with the highest level of care and professionalism.

Trucking:

Our professional drivers are trained and equipped to safety transport your freight.. Loads are tracked so you always know where your freight is. Each load is intentionally planned and carried to fulfill any shipping and receiving constraints you may have. We offer Dry-van, Flatbed/ Step-deck as well as Conestoga trailers. Loads can also be tarped, or chained if needed. And FTL can handle your oversized loads as well!

Warehousing:

Forward Thinking Logistics provides secure and monitored warehousing for both indoor and outdoor holdings. We treat your products with the same level of care as if they were on our trailers. All storage facilities are locked during non-operational hours, ensuring safety remains our top priority, complemented by 24/7 surveillance.

We take expedited loads every day, providing same day pickup and delivery, and we welcome last minute, S.O.S. load requests, however our greatest strength is in building relationships by performing our high level of service performed with consistency, efficiency and care, which are our defining principles.
